Dr. Pessin of the Institute for the Critical Study of Antizionism (ICSA) will lead a special lecture, reflecting on audience questions asked throughout the recently completed six-part series hosted by Scholars Circle, a program of Chai Mitzvah, which examined the historical origins, evolution, and contemporary manifestations of this now truly violent ideology of antizionism.
About Scholar:
Dr. Andrew Pessin is Professor of Philosophy at Connecticut College and Founding Director of the Institute for the Critical Study of Antizionism. His many books include Anti-Zionism on Campus, Poisoning the Wells: Antisemitism in Contemporary America, and The Jewish God Question, as well as several novels. One recent novel is Bright College Years, published 2024 by Open Books. Long ago, he enjoyed some moments of fame portraying “The Genius” on the David Letterman Show.
